Morning with the boys...

I got these great shots this morning before we got dressed to head to the park. The boys were really excited about our big day. So cute. Top photo is Cole munching on an apple in their little playhouse, bottom is Tommy in the forefront, Cole in background.

Table for Two

For Christmas, Uncle Jerry and Aunt Kay sent the boys a giftcard to Target (our favorite store!) After battling colds and being stuck inside, it was so nice to finally get out last week and take the boys shopping. When we hit the toy aisles, I let the boys shop the way I do. We put everything we wish we could have in the cart...kind of mentally buy them. Then when we're finished...we put about 90% of it back.

Anyway, when we hit the aisle that had this table, I was so excited. It was exactly what we were looking for! Snack time for the boys had meant roaming around holding apples or crackers. We were hoping to find something small just for the boys. The lucky table made its way all the way to the registers!

It is now the boys favorite place to sit and play. Tommy likes to line his blueberries up in the groove and eat them one at a time all the way down the line. Cole brings his magna doodle over and plops down to color. It's so cute. Here are some pictures of our new "table for two".

Moments after I finished putting it together, the boys sat down and had snack time.

The cover comes off and there is a water play table inside. The boys had a blast splashing in the kitchen. They were soaked!

After a change of clothes and some relaxing down time, the boys enjoyed chicken nuggets and carrots sitting at their new table.

Fun on the couch....

Today's new discovery was that by moving a few cushions on the couch, we not only created a really cool tunnel to crawl under...but also a really fun trampoline to jump on. The boys were so funny jumping. Their giggles are amazing. I let them have their fun for a little while.

*Disclaimer - the cushions have actually been removed from the couch and placed in front of them. So they are jumping on springs and have a cushion to fall on just in case. :)

Cracker?

Nana & Grandpa's

We had a relaxing day at Nana & Grandpa's today. The weather was warm enough to go outside and watch uncle Joey kayaking for a bit. They both ate spaghetti with meat sauce for the first time (outfits bear evidence of that) and they got lots of cuddles, kisses and of course...goldfish crackers. We chased them around the house, watched them bang on pots and pans, rocked them in their favorite rocking chair and tried (to no avail) to get them to nap. How could they nap when grandpa, nana and toys were all downstairs calling their names? :)
