"Thanksgiving is fun!"

Those were Tommy's exact words on the car ride home from our holiday weekend.  And he was right...it IS fun!  We had such a great time with Kevin's family and had a relaxing stay at Grandma's.  The boys loved sleeping there and told me repeatedly how "com-forable" their beds were.  Uncle Tom and Auntie Vicki spoiled them with awesome books about firemen, trucks, trains, airplanes and diggers. They were in their glory!  And cousin Maureen became their new obsession.  (We are still talking about her!)

But of course, nothing can beat Uncle Steve and Auntie Patti's house.  Scenic Greenwich, beautiful wooded setting, warm fires burning inside and out, amazing food and...for the boys...one amazing red tractor for climbing and exploring and two "tool boxes" waiting for them in their seats.  These worker men had lots to do around the yard!  Here they are in their glory:

With Kevin being the youngest of seven children...any family gathering is a sizeable one!  Here are some photos from our day.  Thank you to everyone for making our holiday so special.  The boys had such a great time and so did we.  Hard to believe next year there will be another little one around the table!

Cole likes to dance.  He's cool!  He's got rhythm!  As you can clearly see in the photo above.  Here he is jamming to some Christmas tunes in preparation for our Christmas card photo shoot.  Is that a little air guitar action?

His other new thing is snapping his fingers.  While he can't actually do it...he is always pretending he can and it's so funny.  My little soul man!!

Guess who we saw yesterday?

Our baby brother!!  We didn't get the *best* photos as he was really snuggled into a tight spot, but the ultrasound tech was able to get some pretty decent face shots considering.  Can you make out his little sweet face?  Perfect little lips, button nose and sucking his thumb for about 80% of the scan.  I pulled up some comparisons with the boys this morning...he looks SO much like them!

I have so many photos to go through...but these ones popped out.  I have another of Tommy when he was little that might be a better comparison, but there is no denying the resemblance to his big brothers!!  Can wait to kiss those sweet cheeks!  At 7 months they are already full...and look at those cupid bow lips!  

We're narrowing in on a name...but I think we might keep it a secret.  Nothing worse than revealing your name and hearing negative feedback.  I told a waitress our top three and she was kind enough to analyze them and tell me character traits of people she knew with the same names.  Umm...thanks?  :)  Anyway, happy to see our little guy snuggled in tight, healthy and growing well.  Only 12 weeks left to go!!!

Cole writes his name!!

Cole has certainly had his share of "firsts" lately.  This morning he went to the art corner, grabbed a marker and wrote his name for Kevin and I.  We were so proud!!  He wrote it backwards...starting with the "e".  Either way it still spells Cole!

Cole's First Shiner!!

Cole is VERY proud of his very first shiner - courtesy of his brother of course!  Apparently the age of three is the start of wrestling.  We have our very own WWE over here on a regular basis.  We had to document his new pride and joy...so here is a little slideshow from our photo shoot this morning.  Enjoy!

Our new babysitter...

We were lucky enough to find a babysitter for the boys who lives a few doors up.  She is starting tonight and the boys are so excited to meet their new "friend".  Today we were all watching football and I asked the boys what games they were going to play with her first.  Tommy replied with his usual dramatic flair, "I know!!  I am going to catch her and put her in a cage!"  Then he ran over and tackled Cole to the ground.

Where on earth did this come from?  lol  Emily if you're reading this...don't be afraid!  We don't have any cages here.  (Although...there have been days when one could have come in handy!)

Our favorite photos is the final one.  Kevin and I went to check on the boys and found them both cuddled up in Cole's bed sound asleep.  They had built a little fort with his pillows and had just their heads inside.  So cute that they were cuddled up together.  Best pals sharing secrets and stories from their very first Halloween night out trick-or-treating.

The boys had haircuts today...long overdue as you can probably see from some of the Halloween pictures.  We were letting their hair recover from daddy's *trim job* a few weeks ago.  :)  They both look SO handsome and were such big boys sitting in the chair.  Tommy had a serious conversation with the stylist about Halloween - it was so cute.  So needless to say, more pictures of their haircuts coming soon!
