We love blueberries!

We're on day two of no baby food!! They are now eating table food exclusively. Favorites are alphabet pasta with cheese and they LOVE toast. These guys are loving every new food they try. Today we had blueberries after lunch and they went crazy over them. Tommy actually smeared them all over himself...his arm STILL has a nice blueberry streak! The above were taken at lunch today.

Cole has been drooling like a St. Bernard lately...and now I know why! This morning there were two new pearly whites on the bottom. So he has 4 on bottom and 4 on top. Tommy usually cuts his right around the same time, so we'll need to prepare ourselves. Cole breezes through teething with out much fussing...but his brother? Watch out!

Happy Anniversary to Us!

Today is our 3rd wedding anniversary!! It's amazing how many things have happened in our lives over the past three years.

-We've traveled a bunch: Aruba, Belize, Florida, Costa Rica...and soon Fiji.
-We purchased our dream home and spent MANY hours painting, tearing up carpet, pulling off wall paper and renovating.
-We've hosted cookouts, luaus, christenings, birthday parties and babypalloozas and managed to survive without killing each other. Barely.
-We got pregnant...made the big announcement and then months later made the even bigger announcement that we were having twins. Gave birth to two beautiful boys who ended up being identical afterall. And now here I sit...typing away while they are ransacking the living room in fits of giggles. :)

We've been married three years, have been blessed with two beautiful children and we're still best friends. Does it get any better than this?!? We are buckling our seat belts and getting ready for whatever comes our way next. Stay tuned!

Cole's playing catch up!

This morning I went in to get the boys -- and Cole was standing! They were in hysterics...clearly pleased that they are both able to participate in one anothers hijinks now. :) Cole's helmet is now gone, and he is accomplishing new things left and right. He is catching up with his brother fast. I think Tommy is in for a shock when Cole starts stealing HIS toys!!!

We had this photo shoot this morning for some upcoming birthdays. The pictures came out so cute...I couldn't pick a favorite.

The boy LOVES to stand!

Here are some pictures of Tommy. He LOVES to stand up and will pull himself up on just about everything! He stands at the gate and calls me when I'm in the kitchen. Mama mama mama!

Guess who's Crawling???

COLE!!! He crawled on all fours for the first time yesterday...then today did a repeat performance. He is so proud of himself that he screeches the whole time he is moving - so cute! I'll try and get some video soon. Whenever they see the camera now they want to hold it...so its getting tricky.

Tommy is standing on his own. Pulling himself up on furniture and starting to cruise a little. He is still pretty unsteady though, so there are LOTS of falls. But he just gets right back up and does it again. Fearless!

Fun morning...

This morning we had a playdate with Cole and Tommy's other twin friends. We had plans to hit the park, but the rain drove us to the local mall to hang out. It was SUCH a nice morning. The boys love their friends and it was great to catch up with the girls.

Babypalooza 2008!

Yesterday we hosted 10 sets of twins (yes...that's right...20 babies!) with moms, dads, grandparents and some siblings at our house for a big playdate! It was a great day. The babies are all the same age, so they really had fun interacting with each other. No major meltdowns - it really was a wonderful afternoon! The familes were from all over New England.

Luckily the weather turned out beautiful and sunny. We swam....had some BBQ...and relaxed watching the babies play together. It was the perfect day! Thank you to everyone for coming and making our playdate so amazing. =)

Army crawling, standing and clapping!

It's official! Cole has started to army crawl. :) He is still getting the hang of it...but he is VERY proud of himself when he does. Tommy has just started pulling himself up on things which is getting interesting. Especially when the things he chooses to pull up on are NOT stable to begin with! He got his first official bruise yesterday right on his forehead. Poor guy...

The clapping actually happened for the first time a few days ago. Tommy was sitting in front of his mirror toy and started clapping away. But there were no repeat performances until last night. Our AC broke and the house was SO hot. He couldn't sleep, so I brought him into our room while I watched Last Comic Standing. Everytime they panned to the audience clapping...he would clap too! It was SO stinking cute.
