8 and a half months....quick update!

Okay...so the kids are so cute and doing so many things now...it's hard to keep up with the blog! Tommy just started army crawling which is BIG news. Both of them have been sitting up on their own for awhile, but Tommy usually finds the floor more fun to explore. I have found him in some interesting places...which was the impetus for us to finally childproof the house. (Of course, now most of the adults that come over have no idea how to open doors or cabinets!)

The two of them have turned into complete giggle monsters. Sometimes all you have to do is LOOK at them and they fall into fits of laughter. So cute! They've also starting mastering solid table foods like pasta, peas - THAT was an interesting lunch! I am still finding them places - and Cheerios. Cole just has to see the Cheerios box and he starts squealing.

We're having a blast. If teething could be taken out of this period in their development it would be heavenly! But their teeth are *almost* in...well the top four and bottom two anyway. Cole weighs in at 23 pounds and is 29 inches long...Tommy is 24 pounds and 30 inches. Isn't funny that they are a pound and an inch apart? Big healthy happy boys!

Enjoy these pictures...and the silly videos. I can't tell you how many of these I have now. My computer is bogged down with photos I refuse to delete. Life is good in so many ways. Without a doubt we are doubly blessed!

Tommy's New Trick

Tubby Time

So I was giving the boys their bath and I remembered that I had some great bath toys from Aunt Judy tucked away. I thought that they were just animals that would float...turns out they squirt water! When we discovered this...bathtime became WAY more fun. I did get Tommy in the face once by mistake, but he seems to think it was funny. (Thank goodness!) Anyway, you'll hear Cole's squeals of laughter in the background! Enjoy...

Playtime

This morning the boys were really playing together which was cute to watch. They are getting to be real buddies. When one cries...the other does too. When one has a giggle fit...you can rest assured more giggles will be coming from his brother!!

Fathers Day with our Grandpas!

We spent the weekend in CT with the boys visiting Kevin's family. It was fun! The boys instantly knew where they were - laughing and giggling for Grandma and Auntie Meredith.

On Father's Day morning, we spent some more time with Grandpa George before leaving and heading back to Boston to visit Grandpa Mike and get even more cuddle time. =) Here are some great photos of the boys with their Grandpas!

Happy Fathers Day!

For Fathers Day, the boys and I gave Kevin a fun photo of them at Fenway Park. (Of course they weren't REALLY at Fenway...I just photo shopped them onto the field! =) Two Red Sox fans in the making! Gotta love it...

Do you notice anything AMAZING about these photos?

The boys can hold their own bottles!!!!! Tommy was the first to do it a couple of days ago...but now Cole is too. I just plopped them in their seats...handed them the bottle and that was it. Can it REALLY be this easy? :) Cole was so proud of himself this morning (as you can see).

They mastered the sippy cups awhile back, but those have handles so are a bit easier. And they would "occassionally" hold their bottles, but get frustrated towards the end as they didn't understand they needed to lift them up. Today was a different story.

They are both still sitting in their seats playing with their empty bottles and babbling away to each other. I am one happy mama!

First dip in the pool!

Tuesday we had a playdate with Tommy and Cole's friends and took them swimming in the pool for the first time. The water was a bit chilly...but the day was warm and the sun was shining. The boys loved it!! Tommy was gasping a bit when his toes first touched the water...but once he got used to the temperature it was smooth sailing. Cole is my water baby. He was kicking before his feet even touched the water.
