Enjoy!
- Cole can eat the insides out of an orange in 3 minutes or less.
- Tommy could have a sippy cup with water in front of him, but if in the tub, would prefer to bend over and drink the bath water.
- Tommy and Cole both think that breaking into the bathroom and playing in the toilet is hysterical.
- The boys actually have their very own blackberry! We have to constantly charge it as they are ALWAYS using it. Making calls and emailing…just like their daddy.
- Speaking of berries, they are CRAZY about blueberries. They can easily eat an entire package in one sitting.
- Cole has an affinity for blond girls. Loves them. Bats his eyelashes, smiles, flirts…whole nine yards.
- Tommy can be shy in public. At home he is the wild man, but in public he is very reserved.
- Cole can unroll an entire roll of toilet paper in the blink of an eye. It is actually quite impressive.
- Tommy eats olives by putting his fingers in the holes then eating them off his fingertips.
- Remotes for the television, DVD players, alarm key pads…if it involves lights, sounds or buttons…it doesn't stand a chance against these two.
- Tommy loves to cuddle and will cry sometimes for no reason other than he just wants to snuggle with mom.
- Cole is very independent. For example, if I offer him a binkie at bedtime, he won’t let me put it in his mouth. HE has to do it. Same goes for just about everything.
- Tommy typically hits milestones first, which is pretty impressive considering he was the one who qualified for EI services when they were babies.
- Sometimes when Tommy is about to do something he is not supposed to…he shakes his head no…then does it anyway.
- Both boys are VERY good in supermarkets and other stores. I think it is because they are big into people watching. Mommy always has crackers in case there aren’t any interesting people to check out.
- Cole really enjoys watching me cook. He intently listens to each step as I describe it and likes to participate whenever possible.
- Cole also really likes teeth. If he is in your lap, chances are he’ll be trying to shove his hand in your mouth.
- Tommy loves to dance and sing. He really jams when the Wiggles are on. On more than one occasion, I’ve had to call his name twice to break him out of his “dance trance”.
- Cole doesn’t like mess. If I sit him in his high chair and the top is dirty, he’ll complain until it is clean.
- Daddy is the equivalent to a superhero and when he is around, mommy becomes non-existent. Unless of course, someone falls or needs a snack.
- Cole’s new favorite toy is between his legs. Mommy is not quite sure how to handle this except to say…yes that is your “pee pee” which causes him to fall into fits of giggles and apparently makes him want to play with it more.
- Above the boys changing table we have a photo board. Tommy’s favorite photo is one of his Uncle Jerry and Aunt Kay. He points to Uncle Jerry and says “dada” and then points to his Aunt Kay and says in a hushed loving tone…”Kaaayyyy”. (Note: Kay is very pretty.)
- Both boys are COMPLETELY infatuated with their grandpa Mike. You would have to see it in person to understand how crazy it is. They fight over sitting in his lap…won’t let him put them down and will not even look at anyone else in the room. (He must be slipping them blueberries or something.)
- Tommy loves babies. Real babies, baby dolls, babies on TV, babies in books…he loves them all. At the indoor play area we go to, I’ve actually had to repeatedly pull him away from people holding babies as he was practically drooling on them. He is now the proud owner of his very own baby and carriage.
- The boys love to laugh…in fact I can hear them laughing their butts off in their room right now. Nap time is over! YAY! It was getting a bit dull around here. :]
