Twinpalooza 2009 - The Invasion of Story Land!!!
This weekend was our big reunion in Story Land! 6 families converged to have fun and chill out with the kids. It was so much fun watching them all interact. Last year they were crawling and just starting to walk...this year they were RUNNING and just so funny with each other. The kids did really well and seemed to enjoy the park.
We have some funny stories...and everyone got great photos. I'll post a few more over the next few days. Still sifting through them all!
One group shot (missing Emily's family...)
Video from the condo....
It was a great trip!!! I had to include this video below as it was too funny not to include. The drive ended up taking us close to 5 hours with the rain and traffic. (usually a three hour drive) Anyway, after being pent up in the car...the boys were crazy men when we got to the condo.

Tommy and Cole meet their cousins!

During Grandma's visit, we made a trip to visit family in Swampscott and have lunch. The boys hadn't met their cousins before and they had a blast (as you can see) playing all sorts of games and exploring Tom and Barbara's beautiful back yard. The flowers were magnificent...the day was sunny and bright...and the food (including homemade blueberry cobbler - yum!) was wonderful.
We always laugh about Cole's scratchy deep voice...and turns out Jack has one too! It was funny listening to them both. Martha's kids are beautiful and really social. (You might recognize them from the Stop and Shope television commercial!) Despite it being in the 80's...Jack decided to wear his bike helmut that morning and refused every time Martha offered to take it off. Hoodsie cups completed their day...and the boys were both sound asleep within 5 minutes of our drive back home. :)
