WARNING TO ALL TODDLER MOMMIES!

Do not sleep in! Sleeping in may cause your toddlers to wreak havoc on an unsuspecting daddy. Daddy doesn't realize how calculating toddlers can be...especially when working in pairs!!

See "Exhibit A" below. Toddler #1 (Tommy) sneaks a marker past daddy and hands it off to Toddler #2 (Cole) who's talent as a grafitti artist is emerging at an early age.

Baby Robin Update!

For those of you who expressed interest in our little birds nest, these 5 little robins are really getting big! It's amazing how much they have changed in one week. They have LOTS of feathers (sticking up every which way...so cute) and they are starting to chirp and clean themselves when mom isn't around. Their appetite is insatiable it seems. This poor mom is constantly on the hunt and feeding her brood.

These are pictures from today. The first two were taken this morning and the last one this afternoon. I *hope* we'll be able to see them learning to fly. Hmmm...maybe I should break out the video camera for that one. :) The boys are loving every minute. Babies and birds are two of their favorite things!

Rainy Day Bubbles

Seeing that today I was planning on washing the floor anyway, I pulled out the boys bubble machine for some unexpected fun. When they saw the bubbles blowing around INSIDE the kitchen, they were so funny. They laughed, danced and tried to catch them before they fell to the floor.

All this before 8am!!

The babies are here!

Our yard is filled with beautiful birds, but our favorite has to be the robins. We have the fattest, happiest robins around! They are completely unafraid of us...and hop around the yard like they own it. In fact, they are so trusting... that this year, a red breasted robin decided to build her nest in a tree right beside our front door.

With five little blue eggs tucked inside, we've been watching the mother robin as she tends to her nest from our window. The boys love it! Over the last week, we even started going in and out of the garage door so as not to disturb her as we felt the time must be drawing closer for the eggs to hatch.

Well, we were right! The babies are here and they are SO cute. Sometimes when we go out the front door all we can see are these fuzzy little heads. Other times their little beaks are straight up calling out for food. I was able to get some cool photos today of the mother feeding the babies. Enjoy!
